We are all working to make Ealing a great place for children and young people to grow up. Partnership working is at the heart of our approach – and we work closely with police, health and education professionals and agencies across the borough. We have responded to the Munro Review by ensuring that our practice has a solid evidence base and our response to the Family Justice Review has been to ensure that a child’s need for permanency is integrated across our entire service. Our last Safeguarding and Looked After Children inspection rated us good with several outstanding features and we achieved outstanding in both our Fostering and our Adoption inspections.
As well as our social care provision, we have a network of 27 modern Children’s Centres, a high performing Youth Offending Service, Youth and Connexions service and an innovative early intervention/early help SAFE service available from three multi-agency teams across the borough.
